Log In Terminology

Term Definition
User Name

Your user name must be between 6 and 20 characters in length and contain no spaces.

Password

Your case-sensitive password must:
   > Contain at least one letter and at least one number
   > Be between 8 and 20 characters
   > Be different from your user Name
Example: 2be1validpassword; Pass1word

Forgot User Name?

This help option will tell you your user name instantly if your responses to an online form exactly match the information you gave at registration.

Forgot Password?

This help option will permit you to create and verify a new password if your responses to an online form correctly answers the security question you gave at registration.

Primary Subscriber

Primary subscriber is defined as the primary individual under whom the plan is held (e.g. the employee of the company who sponsors the plan).

Dependent

Dependent is defined as those who are covered under the primary subscriber (e.g. the family member(s) of the employee).

AGB Member

Typically a primary subscriber or dependent that is enrolled in a standard international benefits plan through AGB.

AGB WorldTravelerSM Member

Typically a primary subscriber or dependent that is enrolled in a supplemental, short-term international business benefits plan through AGB.

AGB Plan Sponsor

Typically a customer who sponsors a group plan of benefits through AGB. A plan sponsor may be an HR representative or other designated representative from a given client company.

AGB Business Alliance Partner

Typically, an international company with significant health care expenses in the United States who has partnered with Aetna Global Benefits to provide their insured members with access to Aetna's nationwide network of health care professionals.

AGB Producer Typically a broker or consultant who has either written business with or plan to write business with AGB.

Registration/Log In Requirements: AGB Member

Step 1: Identifying Your Membership Type
If you are an AGB subscriber or dependent member completing the self-registration portion of the log in for the first time, you will need to select:

1. "Register" on the Members page or the Log in page

2. Then select "AGB Member" in the Member Type drop-down box.

Step 2: Validating Your Temporary User Name/Password
Before gaining access to the website, you need to validate yourself as an active AGB Member by entering the following:

1. In the "Temporary User Name" completion box, enter the Subscriber's ID number as it is listed on the front of your member ID card or enter your SSN, if applicable. (If you do not know your ID number, please contact the AGB International Service Center.

2. In the "Temporary Password" field, enter the following information:

  • FIRST LETTER of your First Name
  • PLUS the FIRST 10 letters of your last name
  • PLUS your date of birth in MMDDYY format.
Example: John Smith born on May 6, 1967 should be entered as JSMITH050667

Step 3: Setting Up Your Account
You will need to establish a new user name and password. This will become the log in name and password that you will use for future visits to the AGB website.
1. Choose a personalized user name. Your new user name must:

  • Be between 6 and 20 characters
  • Contain no spaces.

2. Choose a personalized password. Your new password must:

  • Contain at least one letter and at least one number
  • Be between 8 and 20 characters
  • Be different from your user name

(Example: 2be1validpassword)

3. Enter a valid e-mail address. Your e-mail address is required to register for the AGB website.

Important Note: Please record your user name and password in a safe place. As part of the initial account registration process, you will be asked to choose a password recovery question and answer in case your password is forgotten. Please be aware that user names cannot be recovered, so be sure to record your user name for future reference. If you have forgotten your user name, your account will need to be reset by contacting the AGB International Service Center

Registration/Log In Requirements: AGB WorldtravelerSM Member

AGB WorldTravelerSM members are those members who travel internationally on short-term assignments for business.

Step 1: Identifying Your Membership Type
If you are an AGB WorldTraveler member completing the self-registration portion of the log in for the first time, you will need to select:

1. "Register" on the Members page or the Log in page

2. Then select "AGB WorldTraveler" in the Member Type drop-down box.

Step 2: Validating Your AGB WorldTraveler Membership Information
When completing the self-registration portion of the log in for the first time, you will need to enter the following information:

  • Your First and Last Name
  • Your Date of Birth
  • The "CSA#" printed on the front of your ID card
  • The "Registration Key" listed on the letter that accompanied your ID card.

Step 3: Setting Up Your Account
You will need to establish a new user name and password. This will become the log in name and password that you will use for future visits to the AGB website.

If you are a current AGB Plan Sponsor and have registered your name and e-mail address with your AGB representative, please use this information (exactly as you have provided it to your AGB representative), along with your group control number to self-register and log in to the website.

If you have already been assigned a user name and password for the AGB website, at this time you will not be able to re-register to establish a personalized account. If you have any questions regarding access to this site, please contact your AGB representative.

If you are a prospective plan sponsor and would like to see the features available through the AGB website, please contact an AGB Sales Representative.

If you are a current AGB Business Alliance Partner and have registered your name and e-mail address with your AGB representative, please use this information (exactly as you have provided it to your AGB representative), along with your group control number to self-register and log in to the website.

If you are an existing producer (broker or consultant) who has written business with AGB, please contact your AGB representative for your user name and password.

If you are a prospective broker/consultant and would like to see the features available through the AGB website, please contact an AGB Sales Representative.

Registration Errors: AGB Members

If you receive an error, (e.g. "Cannot find the account your log in ID or Not AGB?" during step 1 of the website registration process, the following problem(s) may have occurred:

1. Your temporary user name has been was entered incorrectly (please be certain that you are entering the primary subscriber's member ID number)

2. You are not an AGB member or your plan is not yet effective. If you believe that you have reached this message in error, please contact the AGB International Service Center to verify your enrollment status.

3. Your temporary password may have been entered incorrectly (please re-enter, following the log in instructions implicitly).

4. You've entered incorrect information three times: if you have entered the incorrect information three times, you will be presented with the challenge question that you provided when you registered for the site. If you've entered incorrect information in response to the challenge question five times, your account has been locked. To unlock your account, please call the AGB International Service Center at 1-800-231-7729 or send an e-mail to agbservice@aetna.com

Please be prepared to provide the following information:

  • Member I.D. number (listed on the front of your member card)
  • Name and date of birth of the primary Aetna member

If, after addressing the possible issues above, you are still unable to register for the site, please contact the AGB International Service Center toll free 24 hours a day.

Registration Errors: AGB Plan Sponsors and Business Alliance Partners

If you are you unable to register for the AGB website, the following problem(s) may have occurred:

1. Your account has not been established by your AGB representative. Please contact your AGB representative for assistance.

2. You have entered your first name, last name or e-mail address differently than how it was provided to AGB during your account set-up.

3. You have entered the wrong Control Number.

If you feel that you have reached this message in error please contact your AGB representative for further assistance.

Forgotten User Names: All Members
Due to security restrictions, if you have forgotten your user name, it cannot be recovered. Your account will need to be reset by contacting the AGB International Service Center for assistance. Once your account is reset, you will be required to re-register as a first-time user as outlined in the Member Registration/Log In Requirements.

If you have forgotten your password, you simply click on the "Password Reset" button, and you will be prompted to answer the challenge question that you provided as part of your registration for the AGB website. Upon answering the question correctly, you will be prompted to select a new password for entry into the site. If this step fails or you have forgotten the answer to your challenge question, please contact your AGB representative.

Using Existing Accounts for Other Aetna Websites
Members: Good News! If you have already registered for another Aetna website, such as Aetna Navigator, you can use that user name and password to log in to the AGB website.

Plan Sponsors: Good News! If you have already registered for another Aetna website, such as EZ Enroll, you can use that same user name and password to log in to the AGB website.
