Combining pharmacy with an AGB health plan creates a benefits package that focuses on "total health," while helping employers manage their bottom line. An AGB pharmacy plan offers the flexibility of having prescriptions filled at virtually any pharmacy in the world. When a prescription is filled, members simply submit a claim to AGB for reimbursement. Members who may seek pharmacy benefits in the United States have access to Aetna's extensive retail pharmacy network in all 50 United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Guam and may receive up to a 12-month supply of covered medications in advance of their international assignment. Members residing in the United States also have access to Aetna's mail-order pharmacy, the Aetna Rx Home Delivery® program, and receive up to a 90 day supply of covered medications, as long as the prescription is written by a United States board-certified medical professional.
